TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) - Tybee Island Police and Fire responded to a fully involved house fire on Monday morning.

First responders arrived at Miller Avenue at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Firefighters battled the blaze while police controlled traffic. Chatham Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived to provide mutual aid during the rescue efforts.
The residence sustained significant damage, but no people or animals were injured as a result of the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
