"Prices are going to come down, but it’s going to take a little bit of time," Vance said. "The president has been president for all of five days. I think that in those five days, he’s accomplished more than Joe Biden did in four years." Well, both of those statements are far from true.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, egg prices are actually expected to increase by nearly 20% this year due to the recent bird flu outbreak. Additionally, the cost of beef, coffee, and orange juice is predicted to rise in the coming months. So while the VP is promising lower prices, the reality is looking quite different for now.
Meanwhile, Dr. Phil McGraw has taken on a surprising new role, joining forces with Donald Trump’s newly appointed “Border Czar,” Tom Homan, to help ICE round up and arrest undocumented individuals in Chicago. On his X account, Dr. Phil posted: “JUST IN: The first arrest in Chicago with Tom Homan was a convicted sex offender and internet predator from Thailand.” The post included a video of the alleged offender, handcuffed, as Dr. Phil and Homan stood beside him. During the video, Dr. Phil repeatedly asked the man if he had been deported before, to which the suspect replied no, stating he needed to speak to his attorney. Dr. Phil is live-streaming these arrests for his network, sparking major discussion online.
