In a report from NBC News Presidential candidate Kristen Gillibrand was asked about “white privilege” by a lady from Youngstown, Ohio.The Senator from New York explained what the term truly meant; and, how it did not apply to her grievance.It is often the case how the public has been distracted by these buzz terms that don’t reflect the reason for their conditions.Instead, they are present with a group to “blame” for their circumstance.This type of maneuvering has been describe as distract and divide.We can only hope that as this election season gets underway voters will not fall for these tactics.
