Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus and her fiancé Wayne Deuce have welcomed their new baby a little earlier than expected.
On Friday, February 28, Broadus announced the birth of her first child in an emotional Instagram post. She confirmed her new daughter arrived three months early and included a black-and-white photo of the infant's foot.
"I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed," she wrote. "But no matter what God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far 🙏"
Cori Broadus and Wayne Deuce first revealed they were expecting back in December. Since then, Snoop's youngest daughter has been open about the highs and the lows of her pregnancy journey. She previously revealed that she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, which is a rare pregnancy complication that can be deadly. HELLP is an acronym for Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelet count. The disease usually occurs during the third trimester but can develop after birth. Despite the complications, Broadus and her baby are doing well.
"I truly appreciate all the love and support fr," she wrote in an Instagram Story on Tuesday. "Sharing your stories have def been helping me get thru this new transition & super thankful that my body is able to produce milk and this music at that :) baby girl is going good and thriving."
