✊🏿Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce Presents ‘Unlocking Financial Freedom: A Juneteenth Kickoff for Black Entrepreneurs’:

The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Truist to kickoff the Juneteenth holiday with our ‘Unlocking Financial Freedom’ networking event! At this event, black entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to casually network with Truist representatives, who will offer a wealth of insight into the world of business finances. Entertainment, Food, Vendors and Kids Zone. Events happening Friday at 5:30pm at Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center in Portal. Saturday’s event is 3-7:00pm at 217 Turpentine Dr. in Portal. Sunday is Juneteenth Night at the South Georgia Tormenta FC Game.
✊🏿Bluffton’s 7th Annual Juneteenth Festival:
📅 June 17th - June 19th, 2022 📍Bluffton, SC
Events kick off Friday with a Black Food Truck Friday, Spades Tournament and DJ Battle at The Bluffton Eagle’s Field from 5:00-9:00pm. Event is free to the public. Saturday’s family friendly event will include live entertainment, performing artists, drum circle, food vendors, a kids zone and much more from 4pm to 10pm at Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton. Shuttles will be provided from Red Cedar Elementary starting at 3:30 p.m. Sunday will feature the 2nd Juneteenth Jazz Brunch, 11AM-2PM inside the stunning venue of Burnt Church Distillery. ✊🏿The Daughters of Mary Magdalene and the City of Savannah’s Original Juneteenth Festival:

Free food, entertainment, live music and games for children. Big Boi from Outkast will be honored. There will also be a Juneteenth Motorcade Parade will be at 9 a.m. from the Savannah Civic Center.
✊🏿Telfair Museums Juneteenth Free Family Day with Activities:

Juneteenth Family Day at the Jepson Center returns with a libation ceremony, drumming and an appearance by the African Spirit at 1pm. From 1-4pm, the museum will offer hands on art making activities for families as well as artist demonstrations of Gullah/Geechee basket making by Gregory Grant and dollmaking by artist Theresa Martin. For the first time in three years, the event will present a full slate of performances including storytelling by Jamal Toure, African dance by Kwanzaa Collective 365, and a rousing musical performance by the Bailey Sounding Angels of Joy from the United House of Prayer. Admission is free to all local residents of Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, Effingham, Beaufort, and Jasper Counties.
✊🏿Tybee MLK Human Rights Organization Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom:

Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday from 11:00am - 7:00pm. Wade-In on Sunday from 9:00am - 10:30am featuring Patt Gunn & The Saltwata Playas, plus the Samba Drummers. Official Juneteenth on Sunday 11:00am - 7:00pm. Vendors, entertainment, guest speakers, live music. Free and open to the public.
✊🏿Savannah African Art Museum Juneteenth Celebration:
📅 June 18th, 2022 | 11:00am - 4:00pm 📍Savannah African Art Museum | 201 E 37th Street, Savannah, GA
The festivities will reflect on and honor the past while celebrating the future. This event will feature music and dancing, spoken word performances, a marketplace, African food samples, and more. The event is free and open to the community, but donations are welcomed and appreciated.
