My fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Beta Phi Lambda Chapter will sponsor a Fish Fry on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:30AM – 3:00PM at the Charles Henry Chapman Memorial Community Garden. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Beta Phi Lambda Chapter’s charitable events, including the “Alpha Bears,” other school mentoring programs, and Megagenesis College and Career Fair. Beta Phi Lambda Chapter mentors over 600 students in 34 elementary schools.Approximately 120 of these students are females.Over 900 students and parents attend the annual MEGAGENESIS College and Career Fair. This event features a keynote speaker, career sessions, and approximately 30 colleges and businesses. Each year, four $1000 scholarships are awarded to seniors at the MEGAGENESIS event.
