A cat in Ontario, Canada, that escaped its owner's home in 2010 turned up 12 years later at a shelter. Christine De Castro received a phone call from animal services claiming that one of her pets had been found. She was confused at first since all her pets were accounted for, and then was shocked to find out the animal they were talking about was Loli, the cat she lost in 2010. De Castro said, "When I saw her, her face looked a lot grumpier than what I remember, which tends to happen with senior cats. Otherwise she looked exactly the same. She's still a very petite brown tabby that I had 11 1/2 years ago."
