Candler County sheriff’s deputy rescues driver from burning vehicle

CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Candler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 46 East Monday night.

The vehicle hit a tree and caught fire and the driver was trapped, according to aFacebook postfrom the Candler County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Miguel Aviles arrived on the scene first and found the driver unconscious. The Sheriff’s Office said Aviles was able to rescue the driver from the burning vehicle.
