You may recognize that amazing tenor voice from singing hooks on Tupac's 'I Ain't Mad At Ya' and others, but now Danny Boy is doing his own thing. After being signed to Death Row Records, this brother from Chicago's West Side hits us with his new single, 'This Song.'
The single is an ode to Donny Hathaway's 'A Song For You' and Danny Boy puts his unique spin on it which I'm sure is a favorite for Chicago steppers too. The melody, hook, beat and lyrics all blend perfectly for a tune that will have you moving and enjoying the vibe. I'm so proud of one of Chicago's very own, making good music that we can sing along to.
