Wizkid and Davido are the latest world-renowned artist to turn against each other.
The two groundbreaking afrobeats stars began slinging mud at one another on Tuesday night after they made some cryptic post on X/Twitter. "U and all ur crew plus ur pant washer song writer go to sleep at night thinking you actually got anything on me in music 🤣😂 wish u all well," he wrote. Wizkid followed up with another post about "delusional n***as," but didn't mention any names. It didn't take long for fans to figure out who he was talking about. Four minutes later, Davido responded and made himself loud and clear.
"WE NOT DELUSIONAL YOU’RE A SICK MAN," the "Fall" singer fired back.
The drama began after Wizkid reposted an old video of Davido crying on his knees over an alleged lover. He shared the video in response to fans asking for more new music. The post went viral and caught Davido's attention. He made some shady posts of his own before he finally decided to @ Wizkid. Once they began talking directly to each other, Davido continued to berate the "Essence" artist.
"That’s what I thought. Nothing to say!" he wrote. "Exactly why I stopped wasting my clout and jeopardizing my millions of usd of endorsements on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again. NEXT!!"
Both artists continued to go back and forth on their timelines for the entire world to see. Davido shamed Wizkid for allegedly having a size 7 shoe just like Drake did to Kendrick Lamar. Wizkid didn't seem to care about his foe's retorts. "I don tire I Dey go sleep 😂 Jesus is King," Wizkid wrote. However, Davido wasn't done with him just yet.
“AINT S**T DROPPING I HAVE HITS!! HE DONT !!” Davido wrote in an Instagram Story. “TELL HIM LETS DROP FRIDAY TOGETHER!! IF DEM BORN HIM WELL HE SHOULD DROP IM READY!! I GOT 80 HITS IN THE CAN READY!! AYO PLEASE!!! ACTIVATE ME!! NO FT !! SOLO SHORT B***H!!”
“So funny how the whole industry scared of a 4ft n***a me I short too oo but if u see am in person u go just giggle idiot," he concluded.
