Listen to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on iHeartRadio

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are adding some new Moonmen to their trophy shelves.  The duo came away with three awards at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, including Best Video With A Social Message for their song "Same Love."  Macklemore says the track promoting pro-marriage equality is the most important one he's written.

Macklemore said winning the Moonman for "Same Love" was symbolic of the movement towards marriage equality.  The rapper-producer duo's track "Can't Hold Us" also managed beat out some of hip-hop's hardest hitters such as Drake and J. Cole for Best Hip-Hop Video.  While the pair lost Video Of The Year to Justin Timberlake, they did manage to come away with the trophy for Best Cinematography.  Among the night's other big winners were Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.
